Santosh Karki

Santosh Karki is a highly skilled professional in the field of protein characterization and mass spectrometry, currently serving as Development Scientist II at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Since June 2021, Santosh has specialized in the characterization of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins to support the development of therapies for rare diseases. Prior experience includes roles as a Characterization Scientist at Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions and a Postdoctoral Researcher at MSTM, LLC, where significant advancements in ionization processes and mass spectrometry techniques were made. Santosh has also contributed to scientific literature as a reviewer for the Journal of American Society for Mass Spectrometry and Rapid Communication in Mass Spectrometry. Education includes a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Temple University and an MSc in Inorganic Chemistry from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. In addition to professional accomplishments, Santosh has volunteered as a judge at the George Washington Carver Science Fair and as a taekwondo instructor.
