Susan Lenhart-Herman

Susan Lenhart-Herman is an experienced medical communications professional with a demonstrated history of leadership in various therapeutic areas. Currently serving as Associate Director, Medical Communications Lead for both Metabolics and Coagulation at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2020, Susan has previously worked as a Medical Science Liaison at both Portola Pharmaceuticals and Biogen, focusing on the management of life-threatening bleeding in patients taking oral Factor-Xa inhibitors. With a solid foundation in medical education and collaboration from over fifteen years at Sanofi, Susan also contributed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, engaging in patient care and academic responsibilities. Susan holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a BS in Pharmacy from Duquesne University.
