Thomaz Bonato

Thomaz Bonato is currently the Global Head of R&D and Medical Finance at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since October 2023. Prior to this, Thomaz Bonato spent over 18 years at AstraZeneca, where roles included Global Transformation Lead, CFO US and VP Finance North America, and interim Country President and Chief Financial Officer for Australia and New Zealand. Thomaz Bonato has a strong background in finance with responsibilities spanning Commercial Finance, Procurement, and oversight of large teams across various regions, including Brazil and Central America. Earlier career experience includes financial roles at Editora Ática and Monsanto Company. Thomaz Bonato holds an MBA in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
