Jay Scott

Jay Scott is the Co-Executive Director at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Jay was previously the Senior Special Events Coordinator at the American Association for Cancer Research from April 2015 to January 2019. In their role at AACR, they were responsible for Runner relationship management for the AACR Runners for Research program, AACR Race contact for 2015 & 2017 AACR Rock 'n'​ Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon, AACR Race contact for the AACR Philadelphia Marathon, and AACR Runners for Research team captain for runDisney events, including Walt Disney World(c) Marathon Weekend, Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend, Princess Half Marathon Weekend, Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend, Disneyland(c) Half Marathon Weekend, and Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend. Jay also oversaw recruitment and sales for the AACR Runners for Research program and was a peer-to-peer fundraising coach for program participants. In addition, they served as the Party With a Purpose Gala liaison and Silent Auction Manager and provided event support for Party With a Purpose, runDisney, Rock & Roll, Revolutions for Research, Philadelphia Marathon, and TPEs. Finally, they managed the co-op, intern, and volunteer programs.

Jay Scott studied history at American University and Kennedy Catholic High School.
