Gruppo Alfa Acciai
The Alfa Acciai Group has been one of Italian and European leading manufacturers of reinforcing steel and wire rod for over 60 years. Established in Brescia in the 1950s, the Group is currently controlled by the holding Siderurgica Investimenti and comprises four subsidiaries specialising in various production fields of industry: Alfa Acciai, Acciaierie di Sicilia, Ferroberica and Tecnofil. With more than 1,100 employees, a total yearly production capacity of 2.5 tonnes of steel and rolled products, the Group boasts a high level of synergy throughout the supply chain. High industrial flexibility and maximum operational efficiency, both upstream and downstream of the smelting process, alongside a sound financial position and assets have enabled the Group to successfully respond to changes in the domestic and foreign steel markets, by keeping the same constant focus as the parent Alfa Acciai and its subsidiaries have reserved to customers since their outset. As a result of its founders’ key strategic vision, heavy investments in innovation and an ongoing commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its operations, the Group today has become a benchmark in terms of circular economy and sustainable production.
