Alexander Kato

Alexander Kato has a diverse work experience in risk management and analysis. Alexander began their career as a Senior Risk Analyst at Carcade Leasing in 2014, where they focused on optimizing risk control and analyzing leasing products for credit risks. Alexander then moved on to Gazprombank Leasing in 2017, where they worked as a Senior Risk Analyst in the Credit Risk Department, participating in the implementation of a CRM system and analyzing the liquidity of leasing items. In 2019, they became the Head of the Credit Risk Analysis and Control Department at Gazprombank Leasing, where they developed regular reports on risk indicators and requirements for data import. Alexander joined RN Bank in 2020 as a Credit Risk Manager, responsible for developing credit risk documentation and participating in tenders. Their most recent role is the Head of Operational Risk Management at Alfa Capital, where they focus on developing an early warning system and automating the identification of operational risk events.

Alexander Kato attended the State University — Higher School of Economics from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Data Analysis. Alexander continued their education at the same university from 2012 to 2014, earning their Master's degree in Economics. In terms of additional certifications, Alexander obtained an Academic IELTS certification in May 2012 from the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
