Rocío Guzmán

Rockie C. is an accomplished program manager currently at Lonza, overseeing multidisciplinary project teams focused on clinical manufacturing of biologics since March 2023. Previously, Rockie served as a senior scientist and program lead at CareDx, Inc., where product development and automation of genomics-based diagnostics were key responsibilities, along with significant contributions to peer-reviewed publications. Rockie has extensive experience as a senior scientist at Senti Biosciences, serving as the technical lead for gene therapy projects in collaboration with Roche companies. Rockie's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University, complemented by a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, alongside relevant experience as a postdoctoral fellow at UCLA and an intern analyst at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.
