Wessel Ploegmakers is a highly experienced professional in the investment and finance sector, currently serving as Partner and Head of the Nordics at Main Capital Partners since May 2014, after holding roles as Senior Investment Manager and Business Analyst/Investment Manager. In addition to this position, Wessel Ploegmakers is actively involved in multiple board leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board of Directors at Epona, Omnidocs, Unik System Design, TimePlan Software, Oiva Health, Aunetic Group, and Björn Lundén AB, as well as Board Member at Nextway Software and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Alfa eCare AB. Wessel Ploegmakers holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management and a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam, complemented by studies at prestigious institutions such as the Stockholm School of Economics and The London School of Economics.
