Daniel Asplund

Daniel Asplund is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Alfa Laval since February 2022, with extensive experience in technical product ownership and mechanical design. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at ATLAS COPCO INDUSTRIAL TECHNIQUE AB from January 2010 to February 2022, where Daniel held multiple positions including Technical Product Owner and Project Leader, overseeing dynamic tightening projects and developing innovative tools for various applications. Earlier experience includes serving as a Machine Designer for Westinghouse Electric Company, focusing on the development of equipment for nuclear fuel production. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and furthered education with a certification from MATRIZ in 2017.
