Henrik G. Welch

Henrik G. Welch has a diverse work experience in various organizations related to finance and corporate treasury. Henrik is currently a Board Member at Alfa Laval Aalborg and the European Association of Corporate Treasurers. In 2019, they served as the Chairman of the board for Industrins Finansförening/Swedish Association of Corporate Treasurers. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President, Head of Group Treasury at Alfa Laval. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an External Adviser at IFU, advising on project portfolios and representing IFU as a board member. Henrik has also held leadership positions in SSAB and Vestas Wind Systems, overseeing the Group Treasury functions. Henrik has extensive experience in financial risk management, funding, cash management, and other related tasks.

Henrik G. Welch holds an Executive MBA in General Management & Finance from NIMBAS, Bradford - Graduate School of Management, which they obtained from 2000 to 2002. Henrik also has a degree in HD International Management from Copenhagen Business School, earned between 1989 and 1991. Additionally, they obtained a degree in HA-jur (Economics and Law) from Aalborg University, completed between 1984 and 1987. Currently, Henrik G. Welch is pursuing a Board Certificate in Board Role at Board Company, starting in 2021.
