Sameer Kalra

Sameer Kalra is the current President of the Marine Division at Alfa Laval. Sameer has held this position since December 2016. Prior to this, they were the Global Head of Marine & Offshore Systems and Vice President of the Marine & Diesel Division at Alfa Laval from May 2011 to December 2016. Sameer has also worked as the Group Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Aalborg Industries A/S from January 1998 to May 2011. Sameer's first job was as First Engineer at Maersk Group from January 1991 to December 1994.

Sameer Kalra has an MBA from University of Chicago and a degree in Marine Engineering from Directorate of Marine Engineering and Training, Calcutta, India. Sameer also has a certification from the Department of Transport in Marine Engineer Officer, Class 1 Steamship and Motorship.

A direct report to Sameer Kalra is and Søren Hjort Krarup - President, Boiler Systems. Sameer Kalra reports to Tom Erixon, President & CEO. They are on a team with Thomas Møller - President, Energy Division, Pascale Gimenez - SVP, HR, and Emma Adlerton - General Counsel & Secretary to the Board of Directors.
