Mahima de Alwis

Mahima De Alwis is a Junior Accountant at Alfan since January 2022, previously serving as an Intern Accountant, with responsibilities including analysing account records and reconciling financial discrepancies. Prior experience includes a role as Marketing Coordinator at ICAEW, where Mahima was involved in planning promotions and tracking event attendance, and participating in student representation on the Middle East Student Committee. Mahima has also held various leadership positions at Curtin University, including Team Head of Marketing, Business School Officer, and Vice President of the Finance Club, coordinating student events and representing the student body. Other experiences include a Credit Risk Internship at ICG MECOS DMCC and a Digital Marketing Internship, focusing on financial analysis and social media coordination. Mahima holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Curtin University and is pursuing ACA qualification with ICAEW. Educational background includes attendance at St. Mary’s Catholic High School and GEMS Education.
