Kevin Fitzpatrick

President & CEO at Alfred Benesch & Company

Kevin is dedicated to strengthening Benesch’s position within the industry. His focus is on the long-term vision of the company. He oversees the implementation of Benesch’s strategic plan and works with the executive management team to evaluate strategies and pursue initiatives aimed at achieving the company’s growth goals.

Employee engagement is particularly important to Kevin. He is dedicated to ensuring all employees are equipped with the training and resources they need to not only deliver for Benesch clients but also pursue personal career development goals.

Kevin has held several roles at Benesch before being named President and CEO in 2020. Prior to being chosen to lead the company, he served as the Great Lakes Regional Manager overseeing operations and business development for the Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Railroad Divisions. Prior to this, he was the Illinois Division Manager, responsible for one of the company’s largest profit centers. Preparing him for the Division Manager role was the time he spent managing some of Benesch’s most complex construction engineering projects as Construction Group Manager within the Illinois Division. Kevin began his career with Benesch in 1985.

Kevin participates in many industry organizations and is currently Chairman of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association, Planning and Design Division. Among Kevin’s notable achievements is being one of a select few Purdue University graduates to be awarded their prestigious Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award.
