Kate Purcell

Kate Purcell has extensive experience in nursing and healthcare management, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Nursing, Workforce Planning and Performance at Alfred Health since July 2018. Previous roles at Alfred Health include After Hours Coordinator and Hotel Support Services Nursing Allocation Manager. At Healthecare from October 2014 to June 2020, Kate led the Victorian DVA Pilot - Post Hospital Stabilisation Program, overseeing operations across three hospital sites. Kate's nursing career began at Alfred Health in January 2001. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing Leadership and Management from the Australian College of Nursing (2019-2020) and a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing from La Trobe University (1997-2001).
