Swati Mukherjee

Swati Mukherjee serves as the Co-Chair of the Equity Diversity and Culture Committee at the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand since September 2023. In addition, Mukherjee is the Director at the Victorian Heart and Lung Clinic and the Womens Heart Centre, both committed to advancing cardiovascular care and addressing heart disease in women. As an Interventional Cardiologist at Cabrini Health and Alfred Health, Mukherjee specializes in various advanced cardiac procedures. Mukherjee holds significant roles at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, contributing to gender equity in medicine initiatives. As a Senior Lecturer at Monash University, Mukherjee’s academic focus is on cardiovascular science, supported by a PhD and fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
