Jonathan Dagenais

Jonathan Dagenais is an accomplished music educator and composer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Chargé de cours at both the Schulich School of Music of McGill University and Université de Sherbrooke, Jonathan instructs in wind orchestration and instrumental composition while also contributing significantly as an artistic director and conductor for various ensembles. Jonathan's composition work is represented by Alfred Music, TRN Music Publisher, Hafabra Music, and Eighth Note Publications. As a passionate leader, Jonathan has also held key positions in organizations such as MusicFest Québec and Orchestre de Jeux Vidéo, showcasing expertise in both musical direction and organizational management. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Music Performance from McGill University and a Bachelor's degree in Music from Université de Montréal, alongside earlier studies in classical percussion and computer science.
