Malia Odekirk

Malia Odekirk is an accomplished music professional with a strong background in both performance and education. Currently serving as an Account Specialist at Alfred Music since September 2022, Malia previously performed as a drummer for the Denver Nuggets Skyline Drumline while also holding various instructional roles in percussion at several high schools and organizations, including The Battalion Drum & Bugle Corps, Inc. Malia has experience as a research and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Denver and has contributed as an administrative assistant and front ensemble instructor for Ascend Performing Arts, Inc. Malia holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Colorado State University and a Master of Arts in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from the University of Denver.
