Michael Swank

Michael Swank is an experienced music educator and composer currently serving as an Instrumental Music Teacher at Northfield High School since July 2023. As a Composer/Author for Alfred Music since October 2021, Michael Swank composes concert band music and develops educational content for the Belwin Young Band series. Prior roles include Band Director at Cebu International School, Music Teacher at Sinarmas World Academy and Tunas Muda School, and Music Teacher at WYATT ACADEMY, where Michael Swank taught various levels of band and general music, directed ensembles, and prepared students for performances and examinations. Michael Swank holds a Master of Music in Composition from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
