Michael Putignano Caia

Michael Putignano, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as Vice President of Private Equity at Cliffwater since July 2024. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, starting as an Investment Analyst and advancing to Senior Investment Analyst from November 2021 to July 2024. Michael's experience in private equity includes working as an Associate and Analyst at Cliffwater from October 2019 to November 2021, as well as serving as an Equity Operations Analyst at Millennium Management from July 2018 to October 2019. Michael obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Fordham University, where studies took place from 2014 to 2018.
