Deepa Deshpande

Deepa Deshpande currently serves as the Associate Director of Innovation and Teaching Excellence at Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology since August 2023. Prior to this role, Deshpande was a Faculty Consultant for Curriculum Development at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from February 2022 to August 2023 and worked as a Learning Design Consultant at LD-Analytica LLC from February 2019 to February 2022, focusing on the assessment and design of various learning environments. Deshpande's academic experience includes positions as a Graduate Teaching Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee from 2014 to 2018, as well as a Post Graduate Teacher at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, from 1991 to 2010. Deshpande holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from the University of Tennessee (2018), a Master of Education in Educational Technology from Penn State University (2012), and a Master of Science in Physics from Savitribai Phule Pune University (1981).
