Project manager at Algaia

Marine Dehail has worked in various roles since 2010. In 2016, they began working as a Project Manager for ALGAIA. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Project Manager for ALGANACT, where they provided scientific expertise and assistance towards the development of novel commercial products based on algae. Marine also provided taylor-made, reliable analyses and characterisations of key algal active compounds from both micro and macroalgae. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Project Manager and Undergraduate Intern at the Institut Oc\u00e9anographique Paul Ricard. As an Undergraduate Intern, they studied five varieties of the cyanobacteria Arthrospira platensis and cultivated them in order to compare the biomass' evolution, growth rate, bacterial contamination, and the protein content between each variety. Additionally, they were in charge of the production of microalgae to feed the livestock of the experimental hatchery and worked on the development of a bioassay to test antifouling molecules on barnacles' model.

Marine Dehail obtained a Master's degree in the field of Exploitation of Coastal Living Resources from Université de Caen Normandie between 2005 and 2010.
