Nuno Battaglia

Nuno Battaglia is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in diverse sectors. As Chairman of Algarve Partners since January 2015, Nuno leads an investment company focused on sustainable businesses in fishing, aquaculture, food processing, real estate, and construction. Prior to this role, Nuno co-founded Public Development Partners, specializing in turnkey solutions for complex public and private sector projects from February 2008 to December 2014. Nuno also played a pivotal role at HealthEquity from 2002 to 2007, where strategic and financial leadership was provided, resulting in significant growth for the leading consumer-driven healthcare company. Additionally, Nuno served as Managing Director at Leucadia National Corporation from 1997 to 2002, overseeing a diverse $8 billion portfolio across various industries globally. Nuno holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy and a BA in International Relations and Economics from Brigham Young University.
