Abid Naveed Akhtar

Abid Naveed Akhtar is a highly experienced Senior Draftsman and R.C. Detailer specializing in Civil and Structural Engineering, currently employed at Al-Ghanim International & General Trading Co since April 2011. With a career spanning over two decades, Abid has a proven track record in developing detailed shop drawings and coordinating various structural designs with architectural and mechanical disciplines. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Design Draftsman at Dar Al Dowailah Engineering Consultants and Construction Managers + MAF, and as Structural Draftsman at Gulf Consult, each contributing expertise in managing project drafting progress and organizing drawing records. Abid began as a Civil Draftsman/CAD Operator at Flowtronix, enhancing foundational skills in the field. Abid holds a B-Tech in Civil Engineering from AMIIE, completed between 2004 and 2007.
