Jesper Svarer Nielsen

Jesper Svarer Nielsen has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, strategy and investor relations. In 2021, they began as CFO of Algiecel, managing finance, fundraising and investor dialogues within clean-/biotech and planning a series-A round. From 2017 to 2021, they were an Executive Advisor at JS Advisory, providing executive advisory and interim leadership within corporate finance, M&A and strategy, including a VP Head of Group and Regional Finance role from March to October 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they were Vice President, CFO of Falck Portfolio, leading teams with responsibility for finance, strategy and transactions for a portfolio of 13 businesses with revenue of DKKbn 2+. From 2016 to 2018, they were Vice President, Head of Strategy and M&A at KMD, leading teams with responsibility for strategy, strategy execution, M&A and PMI. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Executive Advisor at JS Advisory. From 2013 to 2016, they were Head of M&A and Projects at A.P. Moller - Maersk. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Partner in Private Equity at Erhvervsinvest. From 2005 to 2012, they were Group Vice President, Group Strategy & Corporate Development and Group Vice President, Group M&A at ISS A/S, responsible for managing and planning multiple acquisitions world-wide in an extensive acquisition strategy. From 2003 to 2005, they were Manager, Business Development at A.P. Moller - Maersk. From 2001 to 2003, they were an Associate in Corporate Finance at Handelsbanken.

Jesper Svarer Nielsen attended Aarhus University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Master's Degree in Finance. In 2014, they participated in an Executive Leadership Program at IMD. In 2017, they completed an Executive Development Program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
