Dr. Tammi Griffin-Major

Dr. Tammi Griffin-Major has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Dr. Tammi started their career in 2010 at Algiers Charter Schools Association as the Director of Community Relations. Dr. Tammi then joined Algiers Charter School Association in 2014 and held various leadership roles including Executive Director of External and Internal Affairs, Chief of Staff, and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer.

Dr. Tammi Griffin-Major completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Teacher of Education from Southern University at New Orleans, which they obtained from 1991 to 1997. Dr. Tammi then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration from Xavier University of Louisiana, attending from 2000 to 2002. Continuing their academic journey, Dr. Griffin-Major enrolled at the University of Holy Cross from 2020 to 2022, where they acquired a Doctor of Education - Ed.D. degree with a focus on Executive Leadership.
