ALGIM Australia provides education, awareness through research and thought leadership in Data, ICT, Information Management (IM), Customer Experience (CX), AI Web & Digital, GIS, and Process Improvement. 

We have 4 Communities of Practice which are free for all Council staff across Australia to join:
- Data Analytics & Insights
- Customer Journey & Process Improvement 
- AI, Web & Digital 
- Cyber Security

Our purpose is to deliver on shared policies, resources, and projects. We are
 keen to tackle challenges councils are facing, and ALGIM will help resource and deliver on projects as directed by the member councils. 

All strategic decisions and priorities come from our members. 

We also offer thought leadership to the local government sector through ALGIM HQ with our best practice toolkits, advocacy, research, auditing, mystery shops, and events.
