Rodrigo Cruz

Rodrigo CRUZ is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as VP Engineering at Global Water & Energy since November 2024 and as Engineering Manager at Algist Bruggeman since January 2022. Previous roles include European Projects & Asset Care Manager at Boortmalt, where responsibilities included overseeing CAPEX for European sites and developing the Antwerp North Heat Network project. As Project Manager at Milcobel and VYNCKE, Rodrigo successfully executed investment projects and managed turn-key biomass boiler projects. Rodrigo's career began at Global Water & Energy Group, where contributions included establishing an office in Brazil and overseeing numerous projects as Technical Manager and Project Manager. Rodrigo holds a Master of Science in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and has also worked as a researcher at Avecom NV and as a bartender at Lux Frágil.
