Shrikant Parshuramkar

Data science engineer at Algo8 AI

Shrikant Parshuramkar began their work experience in 2018 as a Research Assistant at Palladini Fine Chemicals in Sangli. In this role, they analyzed and synthesized products using various chemical reactions and made decisions on modifications for maximum yield. Shrikant collaborated with process development and packaging teams.

In 2019, Shrikant joined the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur as a Postgraduate Student. During their time there, they worked on a project involving the hexagon crystal structure of silicon as an anode for high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Shrikant also completed a course project on audio event detection using deep learning models for signal processing. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for thermodynamics and fluid mechanics undergraduate courses, mentoring and assisting students.

From 2021 to 2022, Shrikant served as the Secretary at the research wing of the Academics and Career Council at IIT Kanpur.

Currently, Shrikant is working as a Data Science Engineer at Algo8 AI, starting in 2022. Shrikant is involved in creating a digital twin for the Indian Oil Corporation Limited's FCC unit. This project includes utilizing machine learning models for predicting product yield, conducting what-if impact analysis, and developing key performance indicators displayed through an interactive dashboard.

Shrikant Parshuramkar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (Research) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
