Betty Suravech

Betty Suravech is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leading engineering teams and developing software solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Algolia since October 2018, Betty has successfully hired and onboarded a team of five and now manages six engineers focused on ecommerce integrations for platforms such as Shopify and BigCommerce. Prior to this role, Betty was a Senior Software Engineer at Algolia, contributing to the Security team and leading the Magento extension team. Betty's career began at Engrade, LLC, and spans various roles including Senior Developer at Cuyana and Software Engineer at Beautycounter. Betty holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from UC San Diego, earned in 2010.
