Brenda Rothwell

Brenda Rothwell has extensive experience in fundraising and leadership, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Algonquin College Foundation since 2003, where efforts focus on securing funds for student bursaries, scholarships, and enhancing educational resources. Previously, Brenda held the position of Executive Director at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital Foundation from October 1991 to November 2003, managing the organization’s first Capital Campaign and overseeing various portfolios, including communications and major gifts. Additionally, Brenda worked as a PR Consultant at Bullis Communications from January 1990 to November 1991. Brenda holds a diploma in Public Relations with Dean's Honours from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
