Gonzalo Navarro has extensive experience in power and steam plant operations, having served in various capacities since 1983. Currently the Chief Operating Engineer at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since May 2020, Gonzalo oversees a heating and cooling plant featuring cogeneration, absorption water chilling, solar power, and battery storage. Previous roles include Chief Operating Engineer at INVISTA, where responsibilities encompassed the supervision of major industrial steam and power facilities, and positions as Boiler Inspector and Chief Operating Engineer in industries including manufacturing and environmental coordination. Gonzalo's education includes an Associate's degree in Power Engineering from Red River College, completed in 1981.
