James Hopkins

James (Jamie) Hopkins, CD, MEng, MDS, PEng, is currently serving as the Associate Director of Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering Services at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since April 2022. Previously, James held the position of Head of Geospatial Intelligence Policy and Partnerships with the Canadian Armed Forces from June 2020 to May 2022. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Carleton University (September 2023 - August 2025), a Master's degree in Defence Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada (September 2013 - May 2017), a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Geomatics Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary (September 2001 - November 2003), and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (September 1990 - June 1994).
