Jill Briggs is an experienced professional in public policy and digital advertising, currently serving as Manager of Public Policy at Meta since July 2024. Jill is also the Member and Chair of the Algonquin College Advertising and Marketing Program Advisory Committee, a position held since April 2021. With a background in thought leadership within the digital ecosystem, Jill has contributed to various key issues including privacy, ad fraud, and online gambling legislation during tenure as Board Member at the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada from June 2019 to July 2024 and Head of Policy at IAB Canada from July 2018 to July 2024. Earlier career roles include Director of Program Management at Leaside Hockey Association and various positions in account management and media sales across agencies such as DAC Agency, Modem Media, and AXIA Multimedia. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Mass Communications from the University of Ottawa, along with a Creative Advertising diploma from Algonquin College.
