Leanne Thompson

Leanne Thompson has extensive experience in executive administration, currently serving as the Senior Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Executive Officer and Chairman at Hydro Ottawa since January 2017, with previous roles at the organization dating back to 2002. In addition to this position, Leanne has been actively involved in academia as the Chair of the Office Administration Program Advisory Committee at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since 2017, after contributing as a committee member from 2009 to 2016. Leanne's past roles include providing administrative services at various companies, including Baker Group International Inc., JetForm Corporation, and Cognos Incorporated, demonstrating a strong background in supporting senior executives and managing administrative functions. Education includes completion of high school at Glengarry District High School.
