Shawna Holmes

Shawna Holmes is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in educational support and project management. Currently serving as a Student Success Specialist at Algonquin College, Shawna guides students in navigating academic services and enhances their study skills. Previous roles include Professor in the Police Foundations Program, Transfer Pathways Coordinator, and Project Manager at Kyndryl and Farm Management Canada, where Shawna led initiatives to improve student placements and developed resources for agricultural producers. With a solid foundation in sociology, bolstered by a Ph.D. from the University of Guelph, Shawna also engaged in community outreach as the Manager of Community Engagement for the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa. Shawna is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership at the University of Guelph.
