Anna Wilson

Anna Wilson is an accomplished IT security and compliance professional with extensive experience in managing IT audit, risk, and governance for various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of IT Security, Risk & Compliance at Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp., Anna has played a significant role in enterprise security design and the development of IT audit universes. Anna's prior roles include Senior Manager of IT Audit, Consultant in Internal Audit, and Director/IT Consultant at Revera Consulting Inc., specializing in IT governance, risk management, and information security across both public and private sectors. Anna has also contributed to major companies such as LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services and Sobeys Inc., alongside various government roles developing IT security strategies and compliance frameworks, while also serving as an instructor at the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2). Anna holds multiple educational qualifications, including a Diploma in Technology and Fine Arts from George Brown College and a Major in Zoology/Minor in Computer Science from the University of Guelph.
