Pavel Zbitskiy

Pavel Zbitskiy has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 15 years. Pavel is currently working at Algorand as a Principal Software Engineer since August 2021, after serving as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2019 to August 2021. Prior to this, Pavel co-founded RaeNotes in September 2018. Pavel also held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Rocket Software from February 2018 to August 2019, where they designed and developed a record-oriented database and managed engineering teams. Before that, Pavel worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Applied Technologies, Ltd. from November 2013 to October 2015, leading a team and developing search solutions. Pavel also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer at IBM, working on a firmware project and developing a server application. Pavel started their career as a Software Engineer at Applied Technologies, Ltd. in November 2006 and eventually became a Team Lead, overseeing the development of a search engine and various interfaces. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Chelyabinsk State University from September 2006 to July 2012. Pavel has skills in programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, and HLASM, and has experience with various technology platforms and tools such as Docker, Jenkins CI, and Linux.

Pavel Zbitskiy completed a Master's degree in Mathematics at Chelyabinsk State University from 2001 to 2006. From 2006 to 2009, they attended South Ural State University (SUSU), focusing on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. In 2018, Pavel obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera.
