Soraya Taghavi is a seasoned leader in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as Cofounder and CEO of Algoriz, an AI-based platform facilitating the creation and automation of trading algorithms. With experience at Millennium Partners as Head of Energy Commodities Data Analytics, Soraya led the development of a large-scale data analytics model that enhanced fundamental trading decisions. Prior experience includes a tenure at Goldman Sachs as Vice President and Strategist, where Soraya was instrumental in structuring complex energy transactions and pioneered the firm’s first valuation model for Financial Transmission Right options. Soraya holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Mathematical Finance, both from the University of Southern California.
