Joe Kawly, MPS, has over 15 years of experience in media and journalism. Joe is currently serving as a News Anchor for the Middle East Broadcasting Networks, where they anchor the nightly analytical news program "From The Capital" focusing on US news and its impact on the Middle East and the world. Joe is highly skilled in making news reports clear, accurate, and engaging. Prior to this role, they worked as a Social Media producer and anchor for the same company, utilizing various social media platforms to communicate news and information about the new media space to audiences.

Joe also served as the Director of Media and Public Affairs for the Global People's Summit, where they oversaw media-related activities and public affairs strategies. Joe obtained their Master of Professional Studies in Journalism from Georgetown University, where they specialized in Communication and Media Studies from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism Radio/TV from the Lebanese University | Faculty of Information and Documentation, with a start year in 2002 and an end year in 2005.

Before entering higher education, Joe completed their secondary education at Ashrafieh High School, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism from 1999 to 2002. Furthermore, they attended Zahrat El Ihsan School in Beirut, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from 1988 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Joe Kawly has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Joe completed a crisis communication management course from Udemy in February 2023 and a Meridian Psychotherapy program from the Centre of Excellence in May 2021.
