Mahmoud Elsharawy

Mahmoud Elsharawy is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in documentary filmmaking, content production, and podcasting. Currently serving as a Story Editor and Documentary Filmmaker at Middle East Broadcasting Networks since January 2020, Mahmoud leads video and digital program development and oversees multimedia content creation. Prior roles include producing and presenting podcasts, as well as filmmaking at 2A Media, where significant time reductions in documentary production were achieved. Mahmoud's early career included positions in various capacities at Voice of America and The National Press Club, along with a background in dentistry from Al-Azhar University, demonstrating a diverse skill set and commitment to sharing impactful stories across different mediums.
