Alex Mestres

Alex Mestres is the Divisional CEO Americas at Aliaxis SA, a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of thermoplastic piping solutions. Alex has been with Aliaxis for 6 years and 2 months, and is a member of the Global Leadership Team and the Executive Committee.

Prior to their current role, Mr. Mestres was the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of IPEX Group of Companies, where they led a team of 26 manufacturing facilities and distribution centers across Canada and the US. Alex built a new leadership team supporting a performance driven organization, and formulated a clear customer-focused corporate strategy. Mr. Mestres delivered record high historical sales and profitability year after year, through organic growth, accelerated investments in customer driven innovation, implementation of key process improvements, and M&A focused on bolt-on acquisitions.

Mr. Mestres has a long history of leadership and success in the industry, and is committed to helping Aliaxis continue to grow and succeed in the marketplace.

Alex Mestres has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Western Ontario - Richard Ivey School of Business, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, and a degree in Sciences from CEGEP Edouard Montpetit. Alex also has an education from Salesianos, Barcelona.
