Maarten Gerits

Maarten Gerits currently serves as the Head of FP&A EMEA at Aliaxis since September 2025. Prior to this role, extensive experience at Galapagos included positions such as Group Controller and Senior Director, as well as Head of FP&A, R&D and Corporate Controlling. Maarten worked at Deloitte from September 2007 to March 2011 as an Audit Senior and Junior Auditor, focusing on financial statement assurance. Early career experience includes a brief role as an Administrative Employee at Alcatel-Lucent. Maarten holds a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp and completed high school studies in Latin-Mathematics at Klein Seminarie Hoogstraten.
