Kit Wan Maggie Yau is the current Head of Marketing for Australia & New Zealand at Alibaba. Kit has extensive experience in marketing and advertising, having worked previously as Global Marketing Director at HTC Vive, and Account Supervisor at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, the exclusive advertising agency for Apple Inc. Yau began their career in 2006 as a Marketing Executive at Nokia, before moving on to Draftfcb as a Senior Account Manager in 2008. In 2009 they joined Wieden + Kennedy as an Account Manager before moving to Publicis Groupe in 2010, where they spent four years as Senior Account Director, leading a team for all Lancôme and Garnier’s Greater China integrated campaigns. Yau then returned to Apple in 2014 as part of their advertising agency, and spent two years working on marketing strategies for the VR industry with HTC Vive before taking their current role at Alibaba in 2018.

Kit Wan Maggie Yau received their Bachelor's degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, with a major in Integrated BBA (Marketing concentration) and a minor in Journalism+Communications. Kit also holds a certification from HK Baptist University in Certificate of News Reporting and Writing, Hong Kong Baptist University (Distinction).
