Daniel González-Jiménez is a distinguished expert in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning, currently serving as the Director of the Multimodal Information Department at GRADIANT since June 2008. In this role, Daniel has successfully established a technical department focused on R&D in Biometrics, Multimedia Security, and Video-Analytics. Responsibilities include managing an R&D team, overseeing financial planning, and developing technology and product strategies. As Intellectual Property Manager and Co-Director of the Task Force in Multimodal Information at ALiCE Biometrics since June 2019, Daniel contributes to the advancement of biometrics and digital identity technologies. With a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidade de Vigo and a strong publication record, Daniel has also earned notable recognition, including the COETG/AETG award for an outstanding thesis in the ICT sector.
