Mikel Diaz De Otazu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Department Manager at IDOM. From 2006 to 2010, they held the positions of Corporate Strategy Director's deputy at Arian and President at the Compensation Board of Area 44. In 2008, they began working as a Business Strategy Consultant at MDO Consulting, a role they held until 2012. In 2011, they were a Business Strategy Consultant at Mobile CAD Inc. In 2012, they founded and served as CEO of Mybrana, an ad-tech company. Mikel successfully managed the product and business development, working with top advertisers and publishers until 2018. In 2018, they joined MDO Consulting again, this time as a Business Consultant. Mikel also served as the Head of Product Strategy at Shapes AI, leading the product team and shaping the future of smart cities and autonomous driving. Mikel then worked as a Venture Consultant at Gradiant before becoming the Chief Executive Officer at ALiCE Biometrics in 2019.
Mikel Diaz De Otazu pursued an MBA in International Business Administration from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from UC School of Engineering between 1996 and 2002.
