Ronan Gautier

Ronan Gautier is a highly skilled Quantum Physicist currently employed at Alice & Bob since September 2023. Prior to this role, Ronan served as a PhD Student at Inria from March 2020 to December 2023, focusing on quantum error correction for superconducting cat qubits. In early 2023, Ronan was a Visiting Researcher at Université de Sherbrooke, specializing in optimal control for the measurement and reset of superconducting transmon qubits. Earlier research experiences include roles as a Research Intern at École Polytechnique, where numerical simulations of ultracold atom lattices were conducted, and at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, studying quantum phase estimation algorithms. Ronan's academic background includes a PhD in Quantum Information from Ecole normale supérieure, an MSc in Physics from the University of Cambridge, and a BSc in Physics from Université Paris-Saclay, complemented by preparatory classes in Mathematics and Physics at Lycée Hoche.
