Flavio Mori

Flavio Mori has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Flavio began their career at Locaweb as a Software Developer, where they worked on migrating legacy systems and web development. Flavio then joined Touch Tecnologia as a Software Developer, focusing on systems for the health area.

In 2010, Flavio joined Festival do Minuto as a Software Developer, contributing to the development of a curatorship system and a video content system using Ruby on Rails and MySQL. During this time, they also gained experience in machine learning algorithms for user recommendations.

Flavio continued to progress in their career and joined RevMob as a Lead Developer, where they faced challenges related to system scalability and optimizing offers for publishers through recommendation algorithms. Flavio worked on the development of the backend, APIs, and advertisement engine.

In 2013, Flavio became the Lead Developer at incube S.A. before moving to Geekie as a Senior Software Developer in 2015. At Geekie, they contributed to the development of a system for IRT tests and adaptive learning using Python and MongoDB, as well as implementing various methodologies such as Design Thinking and A/B testing.

Flavio then joined 99 as a Tech Lead and later became an Engineering Manager. Flavio played a crucial role in developing dynamic pricing and optimizing the dispatcher system, which significantly improved supply-demand equilibrium and trip efficiency. Flavio worked with technologies such as Java, Scala, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, and Kinesis.

In 2018, Flavio joined Yellow as a Tech Lead for a year before transitioning to Grow Mobility in 2019. At Grow Mobility, they took on the role of Tech Lead before being promoted to Head of Engineering. Flavio led multiple teams in creating tools for operational efficiency, maximizing trips, and preventing losses. Flavio worked with a range of technologies, including Ruby on Rails, Java, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, and AWS.

Most recently, Flavio joined Alice in 2019 as a Software Engineer. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated an expertise in various programming languages, databases, cloud services, and frameworks, consistently delivering impactful results in their roles.

Flavio Mori graduated from USP - Universidade de São Paulo with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006.
