Ahmed El Akkad, MBA, has a strong background in financial management and accounting. Ahmed currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Alico Egypt for Aluminum since January 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of JV Financial Director at Orascom Construction Ltd from March 2016 to January 2020. From August 2012 to January 2016, they were the CFO of UECC, Palm Hills Group, where they focused on business development, financial analysis, and stakeholder management. Before joining Palm Hills, Ahmed worked as an Accounting Senior Manager at Palm Hills Developments from February 2008 to August 2012. Ahmed began their career at Deloitte & Touche as an Audit Senior Manager, where they worked from August 1996 to January 2008. Throughout their career, Ahmed has demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis, budgeting, and building strong client relationships.

Ahmed El Akkad, MBA, has a comprehensive education history that spans over two decades. Ahmed completed their undergraduate studies in Accounting at Cairo University from 1991 to 1995, earning a degree with a "Good" academic standing. Ahmed then pursued further education later in their career, enrolling at Brilliance Business School - Victoria University from 2016 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Strategic Management.

ALICO EGYPT® range of products extends from aluminum doors & windows to curtain walls, skylights, handrails, architectural metal works as (aluminum, stainless steel, expanded metal mesh and perforated metal Cladding), Standing seam roofs and Laminated Stone products. ALICO EGYPT® is the agent of SCHUCO International-Germany in Egypt. ALICO EGYPT® currently employs staff of 610 qualified people. ALICO EGYPT® plant at Ain-Sukhna 120 km east of Cairo in new Suez Industrial Area. The total plant area is 6 hectares and factory building of 12000M2. The factory is divided into 3 bays, as follows: • Aluminum Fabrication Plant. • Glass Processing Plant. • Paint Plant. The paint plant of ALICO EGYPT® is equipped to provide: • PVF2 (PVDF) Wet Coating. • Polyester Powder coating. Glass processing plant is equipped with: • State-of-art, most up to date computerized horizontal tempering line to produce high quality heat-treated glass, i.e. tempered and heat-treated. • Sophisticated automated line to assemble double glazed unit (DGU’s) including D.G.U. for structural glazing applications. • Two separate cutting lines for flat and laminated glass. Aluminum Fabrication Plant is equipped with most up to date machinery; design and experienced factory management supervise and control the work according to the highest international standards.
