Syed M Akbar

Syed M Akbar has over 40 years of experience in the technology industry. Syed M began their career in 1972 as a Project Manager at Tylan Corporation. In 1978, they moved to Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (formerly TRW Inc) where they held the role of Director of Communication Systems. During this time, they were responsible for business acquisition, financial, program, engineering and people management. In 2002, they joined Alico Systems Inc as President and CEO, managing a high technology business involved in the design and development of wireless networking products and applications. Syed M was also responsible for the design, development and deployment of cloud based queuing systems.

Syed M Akbar completed their Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering at Northrop Institute of Technology between 1971 and 1972. Syed M then attended California State University, Los Angeles, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering between 1975 and 1978. Prior to that, they attended Habib Public School.
