Suraj Swaroop

Suraj Swaroop is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and data science. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Alida since April 2021, Suraj has held multiple leadership roles, including Team Lead for Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, as well as Senior AI Engineer. Prior experience includes a Data Scientist position at Simon Fraser University, where Suraj developed data pipelines and conducted feature analysis using NLP and machine learning. Additionally, experience at Tata Consultancy Services as a Data Engineer involved leading ETL processes and team mentoring, while earlier work at NTT DATA as a Software Development Analyst focused on designing data pipelines for insurance data. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Big Data from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Atria Institute of Technology.
